EPS
The outstanding shock absorbency and compression resistance provides an excellent protection purpose. EPS is used in industrial packaging as it does not significantly add weight to the total product. This in turn means that fuel consumption is improved and fuel emissions are lower than with heavier materials. The reduction in emissions means less impact on global warming.
EPP and EPE
Besides offering good resilience, 'multiple-drop' cushioning and temperature resistance, these materials also have low thermal conductivity and high resistance to solvents. For Industrial parts suppliers who ship components frequently over to OEMs, EPP and EPE containers will be a good choice as it can be use over and over again. EPP and EPE can resist many common solvents, chemicals and is anti-freezes. Any parts made from EPP and EPE have excellent resiliency to absorb multiple impacts. Parts are protected during transport and do not require elaborate unwrapping upon point of use. |
